Do you like watching Bollywood movies? Well, there will be hardly anyone who doesn't like watching movies. Bollywood happens to be the largest maker of Indian films. It's been right there for the Indian audiences from decades.
But the year 2020 looks way too
different for the industry as not many films could prove their worth. If we
talk about lockdown, then the entire industry had to face a shut down for
months.
Even now, Bollywood doesn't seem to
have been revived from the lockdown due to coronavirus. There are various
factors that came in right there in the last few months of the year 2020.
The biggest break down in Bollywood happened because of Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) case. The case became the point
of discussion not just within the country but across the globe.
The same has been happening even now
as people of the country are very much interested to bring justice for the
departed soul. One of the reasons why the justice has been delayed so much is
that many senior leaders and others representing the Maha government are
involved in the murder of SSR.
The reason why we have to say this
is because of the fact that all this have affected negatively to Bollywood.
Other than the SSR case, some other picture of Bollywood also came forth. One
of the m was the drug angle.
All these recent exposure of
Bollywood has made the industry look different than earlier. Even if movie
halls are not open, they are being released on the OTT platforms. But majority
of the audience are rejecting their movies as people first want to get justice
in the SSR case.
Looking at the above situation, it
seems that it will take far more than it looks like. Bollywood movies have
always been idle for many. But today, the entertainment industry has shown its
different face altogether.
What we can see from here, Bollywood
film makers have to really make some efforts to produce some entertaining
films. For example, the most recent Bollywood movie Laxmii was recently
released on Disney+Hotstar. But the Akshay Kumar starrer didn't get the support
of the audience as it looked boring.
Also, many say that they are not
ready to watch a film which has been copied from another film in different
language. To be precise, Laxmii was copied from another film titled Kanchana.
So, the makers really need to put some more efforts in making Bollywood movies otherwise nobody would like to watch their films.
